EDM Specialist (Wire & Sinker)
Ideal candidate will program, set-up and operate Wire and Sinker EDM Machines. If you have EDM experience and are looking for an opportunity to learn and advance your skills, then Carlson Tool is the place for you! Tool & Die Experience is a Huge Plus!

East Plant:
Lead CNC Machinist - 2nd Shift
Ideal candidate will lead a small group of CNC Operators on 2nd shift.
Qualified candidates must have a minimum of 3 years experience and knowledge on CNC Machinery. Minimum of 2 years of supervisory/lead experience in a CNC environment. Must be familiar with types of controls such as Mazak, Fanuc and Mazatrol. Knowledge of G&M codes. Knowledge of Mastercam a huge plus! Strong communcation skills and able to communicate fluently in English.
Gundrill Machinists
Ideal candidate will operate Gundrill Machinery. Machinists will inspect and measure parts to maintain statistical process control charts. Read blueprints and/or job orders for product specifications, such as dimensions and tolerances, tooling instructions, feed rates, cutting speed, surface feeds and determine sequence of operations. Operate grinders to sharpen Gundrills or tools for specific types of materials.
Candidates must be a High School Graduate or have earned their G.E.D. Shop math and blueprint reading skills preferred. Must have a thorough background in a machine shop environment. Prior Gundrill experience.
